Christians most often believe that Jews worship the same God, but Jews do not believe that Christ was savior and therefore the Jews do not believe in the new testament. However, with muslims, Christians have varying views.

Yes, all of these faiths are what the Muslims call "People of the Book", and all believe in the same creator deity.

Yes, the only big difference is Jesus, that's it.

A slight nuance: Both Judaism and Islam hold the belief that G-d is an indivisible Singularity. Torah: "Hear, O Israel, The L-rd Our G-d, The L-rd is ONE." (Deuteronomy 6:4) Koran: "Verily G-d will not forgive the union of other gods with Himself." (Sura 4:51) From my reading, Christianity posits a division of G-d into Three Personalities: Father, Son, and Spirit, who seem to interact among themselves. Can anyone reconcile this Christian view of G-d with that of the other two Faiths? It seems so different!

no. i am a christian and there is a major difference. Jews believe in the same God, but do not accept Jesus as the Savior. Muslims believe that Jesus was just a prophet like Mohamed. Jesus is God. He was not just a prophet He was and is the Christ. Christians' Jesus is also a God of peace and is loving. Is killing people because they don't accept Islam or abandon it peace? NO way!

christians only worship God...thats it...no more to it...God is everything

I know that most non-Christians refer to these religions as the Abrahamic religions since they all worship the god of Abraham - but if you ask them they'd probably say otherwise.

Jesus was a Jew and His Father is the God of the Jews, so we worship the same God. Evenso there is a fundamental difference: God made a covenant with the Jews, they would be His people and obey the law and He would protect them and guide them curse whoever curses them, etc etc. With the coming of Jesus and His sacrifice came a new covenant: Accept Jesus as your saviour and follow Him in His ways, and you'll live forever. The law no longer applies as law, only as tool to understand God and the spiritual principles. So the Jews are saved by their covenant with God, the first covenant, and the christians are saved by their covenant with God, the new covenant. Muslims are another matter. Muslims as far as I know do not fall under either catagory, so no matter who or what they worship, they do not have the covenant with Him.

I believe in the general case, most Christians do not realize that the God they believe in is the same as that of Muslims and Jews. I personally have tried explaining this to Christians and they were very defiant to the fact that they worshiped the same deity as those "Muslim heathens" as they put it.

i do think that they believe that their god is different which is soo silly because we all worship the same god just in kinda different ways
