How to manage money. Of course I haven't been school age for awhile, perhaps they do.

Aside from the basic math, reading, etc...I think every kid should learn basic auto care (if anything so they don't get ripped off at the shop), cooking and money management (how to make a realistic budget, how to balance a checkbook, basic investing), all kids in high school should also have to have some sort of child care/parenting class. Preferably where they have to take care of a realistic doll for at least two weeks so they know what it's really all about. (I understand there are dolls with computer chips that make them "wake up" at all hours, need to eat, be changed, and sometimes cry for unknown reasons!)

They need to teach a Basic Living Class. Like Andy777 said, to manage money also to fill out basic forms, write a check. Telephone skills would be nice. Some of the kids that come to work for me, it amazes me how they don't have any basic survival skills. They are smarter than me in many areas, but the simple stuff goes right over their heads.
