  • The poison Texodoxin, found in the algae consumed by the puffer fish (and stored in its skin, sexual organs, liver and gut, which have to be removed verrrrrryyy carefully so as not to kill consumers) has been long considered the most probable substance causing "zombification" due to the tests carried out by Wade Davis.
