  • To me, the Bible shows us God's love in the healings in both the old and the new testament. Widows are supplied for, lepers cleansed, sight and hearing restored, the dead brought back to life. To me this says, over and over, God is love, his creation is all good. God did not make poverty, sickness, sin, and death. These result from a misunderstanding of the true nature of God. But an understanding of the love of God removes poverty, heals sickness, heals the sinner, and always upholds life.
