My friends pretty much all went to prison (not jail but to prison) I wrote to them and each and everyone of them said "You do NOT want to come here." Since then, I have always made sure I either didn't get caught or just didn't break the law. I have taken their advice from day one and have never been to prison.

I learned that humans are humans and have different opinions and beliefs and that no one individual is better than anyone else.
