  • Peanut butter and sugar sandwiches. Yeah...I was the healthy child, alright.
  • There were some Rromani and Romanian dishes that my father fixed. He was no great chef (he told me that my mother could really cook!) but he liked to eat like he did in Romania as well as American food. I was fond of it as well. I have not eaten those dishes since he passed. I do not even know what they are called. I have found a recipe for a cabbage roll that sounds like it would be one of those dishes but I am going to have some problems finding any of them.
  • The original chocolate chip pancakes at Int'l. House of Pancakes. They changed the batter recipe several years back.
  • Yes.In my native people used to prepare beef in the form of rope like kind, salt it and dry it and that'll be hooked on and hung on a line of string. Whenever you need you can cut a part of it and eat it as such or you can also fry it and eat. Its like dried fishes and tasted excellent.(Don't follow it as I've explained as I dont know the exact procedure).Seems that they no longer prepare it now.May be I can get in some still primitive villages.
