  • The choice of a database platform depends on a number of things. What platform are you running on? How many users will be accessing it? How much data will be stored? How fast must the retrieval time be? What's the skill set of your available database administrators? What's your budget? All databases have pros and cons, and they all have their advocates and detractors. Whether you end up with Oracle, Sybase, MySQL, db2, MS-Access, etc., it should be because that is the tool that best meets the needs of the situation.
  • MySQL and PHPMyadmin.
