i have tried different formulas bottles and teet i'm jst worried he's not getting enough fluids

It could be the type of nipple on the bottle or the temperature of the milk. If you breast fed, then the baby probably prefers warmer fluids, and the type of nipple may cause an issues for the sucking if it is to far from what the baby is used to.

Since the doctor thinks he is fine I wouldn't worry to much. Just keep offering it to him as normal, there is a certain amount of fluid in solid food as well.

im having the very same problem with my 8 1/2mth old and he started doing the same thing around 6 mths when he started eating solids, im lucky if i get 18oz in mine but the doctor says hes fine and he hasnt been losing weight or have any bladder/bowel problems, hes healthy! im glad im not the only one out there though

Obviously, your doctor is not explaining what is happening with your child. I think you should take your child to another doctor for a second opinion. Maybe this doctor is not the right one for you.
