  • I don't know about OTHER men, but I would appreciate you getting to the point. Minutes ain't FREE, ya know...!
  • we want: Booty call don't want: any other kind of call I just think most men aren't big on long conversations on the phone. Maybe it's just me.
  • It can be anything, as long as it's not on her damn cell phone. I'm tired of getting hung up on or saying, "Hello, hello can you hear me, I can't hear you....are you there? Really pisses me off. It was worse with her old cell phone, but not much better with her new iphone.
  • I think most guys like to have something to talk about. Us ladies call our friends "just to talk". Guys have a point. If you want to chat with him for a while, really make sure you have things to talk about, or he'll be itching to get off the phone, whether he likes you or not.
  • In my "phone experience" with men (whether friends or in a relationship) they have to be in a chatty mood to talk for more than a few minutes (this does not include the adolescent days when you could stay up all night listening to eachother breathe - that's when they're just trying to get laid). I've had long conversations with men, but those are usually asking and answering questions, then saying bye. If you want to just "chat" or "bullshit" with a guy, that is best to do face to face, over a cold one or a cup of coffee.
  • As the other answers suggest, we want the call to be short or informative. If we are learning something, then we'll stay on the phone longer, but even then get to the point.
