  • Spunts, I used to drink Squirt when I was a kid! It had a very sour flavor, and I really liked it. I don't drink soda anymore, but I loved Squirt, it's certainly not new to me. I think the name refers to the 'Squirt' from a lemon, but I don't think it's the best name for a drink, no. :)
  • sorry to break the news to you, but squirt has been around for decades.
  • I think that's been around for a while. I refuse to drink anything with the name squirt in it.
  • Squirt has been around awhile and I like it. Cute name too.
  • I like it, I admit I preferred 50/50 better though.
  • As far as I know, Squirt is not really new. I've been drinking it since I was young. I believe that the name has to do with the juice content of the drink. I don't know if I'd compliment the name, since it's a little corny if that were their intentions, but who cares what it's called if it tastes good.
  • Squirt is old. I drank it in the 60s. It was my favorite soda. Hard to find nowadays. It was created in 1938
  • Pepsi,Coke,Sprite,7-Up and Mountain Dew over shadowed Squirt. Now they are trying to Hipe itback to the high side. It is a grapefruite soda and as there is the classic idea of digging into a grapefruite and getting a Squirt of juice in the eye hence the name of the soda.
  • Its not new, but its not bad. Don't get weirded out or anything, but sometimes, I toss salt in it. It actually tastes good without salt, but its good with salt too.
  • I drank squirt since I was a kid and I'm 64 years old! It's delicious. It is grapefruit based as opposed to lemon/lime of the 7up varieties. It is difficult to get and Yahoo wants one to buy (4) 6-packs of it for shipping. That's too much for an ocassional drink.
