I hate to be cynical about things but there is more money to be made by developing treatments that prolong and better life than by curing it. I firmly believe that unless there is a risk of pandemic viruses that can cause death by airborne viruses, companies are more unlikely to pursue a cure over a treatment. It is rumoured that the common cold should be easily curable but has not been pursued because it is not life threatening and a lot of money is generated from treatments. I would like to hope i'm wrong but....

a long time. i think our environment causes cancer. I bet it is caused by inhaling the rubber from the car and truck tires. the new word is it gets eaten by micro organisms. there is so much waste just dumped into the ocean and the rivers that it has to get into our bodies and causes havoc. meanwhile there will be other deadlier virus that will get released by the government accidentally.

How long have we been researching cancer? 20 years? 50 years? 100? How much money have we spent on it? Over a trillion? With that much money you could find a way to get humans to fly or become immortal. Any day now...
