How do I remove tarnish from costume jerwelry?(without having to buy a specific product)

    Unless your jewellry is silver or gold, you may have problems.
    A good and cheap way to remove tarnish from silver is to put some aluminum foil in a non metallic shallow dish, cover it with hot water and add some soda crystals (washing soda). Put the silver in and watch the tarnish float away.
    This won't work if the jewellry is not silver, so in that case I'd suggest you wash it and dry it thoroughly.
