A lot of Christians believe Jesus was God in human form. Look at it this way: God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are all basically the same entity but in different forms. Take water, for example. Tap water is water, ice is water, and fog is water. So we could stand here all day and talk about how refreshing ice is, but in reality it's frozen tap water. Either way, it all goes back to water. So when churches talk about how wonderful Jesus is, they're actually talking about how wonderful God is. Eh I hope this makes sense. I've never been very good at explaining this sort of thing.

Jesus is an enlightened human being said to be born to this world. There are and were many enlightened human beings in this world. Several religions formed on prophets like Jesus. Most of them orgnized around one prophet and started believing in it. Some of them went ahead and made the prophets God themselves. Lots of business minded people did business with it. Added several marketing things like "Harvesting soul" Converion etc to the scriptures and make people spread the relgions and sell it. People started hating each otehr in the name of God, when people started arguing about their own God. World is at the brim of a religious war. God is formless and omnipresent, omnipotent. You can see it everywhere if you want to. You can visualize it the way you want to.
