believing in him as a real historical figure wouldn't be the same thing in believing in him as the son of God or as a prophet and whatnot so it depends on what you mean by believing in him too.
-
I believe anyway, its more about faith than proof :-)
-
not something that science can prove but historians have come up with some pretty good evidence of his existence-all that does is show he was a man--not sure that is what you wanted to hear-smile and have a good day

Why would you do that, the message of Christ is salvation through faith alone you do not have to have faith that a carrot you are holding in your hand will remain a carrot from when you begin to blink to when you open your eyes you know that it will still be a carrot. In the bible it says you are saved by faith, if scientists proved that Jesus was 100% real which is unnecessary since without a shadow of a doubt you can say that Jesus was a real person that walked the earth wheather or not you believe that he was anything more than a man. If you knew that it happend beacuse of the actions of a human and placed no faith or trust in God then you would effectively be evadeing the point of christianity and most likely comprimising your salvation.

You mean believe that he was the promised Messiah? No, he still didn't fulfill the prophecies in the Bible of what the Messiah was supposed to do, be, and so on.

Of course I would believed what was proved. But what are you asking? I am an atheist, but I think it more likely than not that Jesus existed. That he was the Son of God? Then, by definition, you have proved that God exists. So of course, if you have proved that, I will believe. Indeed, in my book, "proved" and "believable" are very close.

I believe in him w/o needing proof. He was a man that walked this earth as we all do. He was a prophet that spoke about God being "The Word" to us. He died in those days as all people died in that providence of Rome when they controlled Israel. The Jewish line of High Priests from Aaron to JESUS would make him a HIGH PRIEST ACCORDING TO THE ORDER OF MELCHIZEDEK. Heb 5:1-10 He was a Rabbi. which means teacher and he led his followers, he was prophesied by the Jewish Line and also in the bible and with the arrangement of the stars and astrology at that time he was born. King Herald knew of this so he had all newborn babies killed because he was threatened by knowing he was born and on the earth, but he survived and still preached the word till 33. There was a person that wrote the Book of Marcion and the Epistle of Barnabus. You should check out the link below and do research on it. From a lost book out of the Gnostic Bible, this is a book that was not in the Cannon Bible. http://books.google.com/books?id=p09aEYTh2bIC&pg=PA17&lpg=PA17&dq=book+of+marcion&source=web&ots=eat8H3plFK&sig=Lg3DyR0dWUiaB_2Ot2179f0sR9E#PPP1,M1 My friend also said to me "that Jesus was just a story, the greatest story on earth that would be told over and over there was a person standing there and said this would make a great story and wrote it, so he can't believe and he is still trying to find the answers." Hope that this answer helped but what you do not know now you will find out thru time, with knowledge comes understanding, with understanding comes wisdom. God will give you the answers if you seek the truth just have patience. D8T Jesus is real tell somebody, he's sitting on the right side of God next to the Throne.

I already believe he existed as a man, and I don't think there could be proof that he was the Son of God, save for a big booming voice in the sky. But if there came a big booming voice from the sky, I guess I would have to believe. After NASA confirmed it wasn't a hoax, of course. :p

Theyre is some proof of his actual existance, so yes i believe he was real, just not anything more than a common carpenter.
