I can read for about 2 hours straight before needing to take a break. On some occasions though, when a book is really good and I want to see what happens, I can read for longer. How long can everyone else read for?

If its a book im really interested in i can normally finish it without putting it down, but at the minute cause im having problems with my eyes, 3 hours is around all i can do right now

Just before HP7 came out I read HP6 all the way through straight. It took about 6 hours of none stop reading.

When I read for pleasure I can read until the book is done. When I read for work or school I can read for about 2 seconds. Very ADD.

I've read for over 4 hours at a time. It's usually my bladder that gets me or maybe the phone:-)

days straight. i keep reading while i take my breaks. i'm seriously obsessed w/ reading though. i finished the last harry potter book in a day.

If I get really engrossed in a book, I've been told that the house could collapse around me and I would never notice! I thin that the longest I have ever continuously read ( without any breaks at all ) was about 5 hours.

All day long, only stopping for meals, snacks, and bathroom breaks for days. (Yeah, I like reading a lot)

I have read two books straight without taking much of a break. I'm a maniac. I can sit for 14 hours straight and be totally engrossed.

It depends on how into the book I am, but I can read for about four or five hours as long as I prepare myself beforehand like eat before and get things done in my house then I can just relax and read away.

I have read for 16 hours straight before, and I could easily do it again. I really, really like reading.
