If your truck still has the stock in line fuel filter installed by the manufacturer, you will need the \"quick release\" tool. you can easily borrow or buy one from autozone, or any ford dealership. Because of the location of the fuel filter, you may need to clean the road grime off of the quick disconnects before using the tool. Be sure to open your gas cap to depressurize your gas tank so gas doesn't continuously stream out and disconnect your negative battery terminal. I always recommend getting a repair manual for every car that you own. They are very handy for most everything that can be handled by the average DIY person.
