My roomate and I have very different tastes. She likes MASH, game show, soaps. Although I don't mind MASH and the game shows, I prefer History, documentaries, movies with Julia roberts. Action movies. Movies like die hard and rocky.

The wife and I spent our first evening of cuddling together when we were dating actually surfing between Two channels keeping up with Two shows we both loved! did'nt have a DVR at the time so now that we have one we can get both shows!

No, but it isn't a problem because I no longer watch television.

at first it was hard. Now we watch the same things. House American Idol LOST (we got the first 3 seaons on DVD and now that's all we watch) Family Guy South Park and who needs anything else? I LOVE E and the news but he doesn't.

We love some of the same shows, but not all of the same shows. He is more interested in TV than I am. If he wants to watch something that I don't, then I'll read or use the computer instead.
