I don't think Bush even cares. It has happened to every president that has ever been, they must think its a requirement by now.
-
No. I think that anyone who gets to the top has to expect a lot of criticism. I doubt that he ever hears comments from the people anyway..Everything must be screened by the time he gets it.
-
I think that if you are in politics you probably learn to have a thick skin. But still, I am sure it hurts a bit to know so many people think your dumb.
-
Only if he is smart enough to understand the jokes.
-
Bush prolly isn't smart enough to know he's being insulted.
-
I don't think some of these jokes a fair.....but I also don't think that he really cares that much.
-
It only happens to Republicans. Ronald Reagan and Lincoln were treated like idiots while they were in office, but history has treated them pretty well.
-
Not really. I'm sure he's man enough to take it, and probably ignores them anyway. He may even be amused by them also, how do we know?
-
No I don't. See, my feelings are a little hurt that his decisions are costing young men their lives. If I have to suck that up...then he should be able to take a few stupid jokes.
-
Not really. Insults should be taken in stride. If you can't handle criticism, you shouldn't be President.
-
I don't care for the man and his administration's policies, but personal jabs are always uncalled for. They don't make anyone feel good.
-
Yes, I think its ridicuolous, and like someone else said in their answer, its uncalled for. He's the president of America, for crying out loud, he had to have atleast SOME smarts up there to accomplish that. And as the prestident, I think he deserves respect. And calling him stupid and such, is not respect, its just plain rude.
-
Every president, Republican or Democrat, every politician for that matter is going to face criticism from someone. Bush and his administration have made a lot of bad moves, had a lot more scandals than any administration in recent memory. He has lied to the public, he ignores the Constitution, he tries to mix his personal/religious beliefs with politics, he made a huge part of his last campaign a push to amend the Constitution to legally discriminate against millions of people, and this never-ending war has cost thousands of lives. And, for what? Saddam was evil and needed to be overthrown, but the "reasons" for war were nothing but lies.
-
about as much as he cares for the feelings of the families of the young men and women he sent into battle in Iraq, particularly those who will come home in a box :(
