I am from germany and went to america in december to visit some friends and I bought a sidekick 3! My problem is that it is sim locked so I cant use my german t mobile card for it. Does anyone know how to unlock it? Need it for call and text only!!

You can go to T-Mobile Germany and ask them to unlock it. There may be a service fee, but since you will be using it on T-Mobile they may be fine with that.

I've struggled many times with German bureaucracy, so I'm not trying to get your hopes up, but it is worth a try.

Most likely they will refer you back to T-Mobile USA, but if you reason with them it may work.
