The answer is definitely yes. They have fully developed, fulminating genital herpes.
Like the guys in the band singing "Viva Viagra" they don't have to use the product to do the spot but casting does tell them the content of the ad before they book it. Everybody in the business knows they are actors so nobody gets blacklisted for doing it. Also, commercials don't end up on a resume.

The people in those commercials doing the testimonials are, generally, paid actors. That being said, they may have herpes and may use the product, but that is not why they were hired.
Doubtful, but could you imagine how blacklisted you would be after that one?
