It happens, they still look at the comments though, even if they don't respond. Just leave a sarcastic comment questioning the (often in and of itself questionable) logic in their answer.

Believe it or not, there is a huge, wonderful world outside of AB. Feel free to explore it some time. Meanwhile, do whatever you like. No one's paying you to be here (are they?) If you can't handle crap then take a break. Do something fun. Come back when you feel like it. Grow a thick skin. It comes in handy. Take a step back and relax. It's not that bad.

i Know exactly what u mean. i ususally, just state my opinion, and if they ave a problem with it then okay, but i dont continue an arguement, its not like either of us are going to change our minds. But when i do get in a conversation, i dont give up, until it gets ridiculous.

I can't agree more with you. I have done the same and as you have stated it seems like the longer and more detailed the answer the more you get spat on. Some "people" like to do the drive by comment just to knock you off track. Those people get their jollies by being stupid and are no benefit to AB.

I agree with you Twupfold. I would never do that.

This looks like a blast from the past to me. Most of these people are long gone. I'll steal my answer from another user here, and I quote "meh"

I think a large chill pill is needed.

I'd consider avoiding questions that motivate me to write long detailed answers. Sometimes a few words say just a much as a thesis. I'd also consider avoiding topics in which I'm likely to attract the wrath of bitter, self-righteous people. Finally, I'd look at my habit of labeling people bitter and self-righteous. What, if anything, am I posting that might contribute to ABers responding so bitterly? That's my two cents...!
