Sure, if they do what I need them to do. I would prefer one to an internal cumbustion engine auto. I really am interested in the new CAT (Compressed air technology) cars though. I think they have a winning idea there!

Not yet, no. The current technology ain't great and here in Oz, where electricity is generated using brown coal (predominantly) running an electric car would actually increase my CO2 emissions, compared to driving a petrol or diesel... Hybrids aren't a bad alternative, but the ones on offer right now are crappy!
