Some people find tickling to be unpleasant. My ex threatened me with a slow horrible death if I ever tickled her feet. I confess I don't like being tickled either. But I can will myself to not be ticklish, so it's not so much of a bother for me. I guess my answer is that if the tickling is unwelcome, then it is an (albeit mild) form of abuse.

If it's being used simply to torment someone then I would think so. I know I HATE being tickled! You can't help but laugh even if you hate it...I mean you're being tickled for crap sake!

Perhaps to some, or they may consider it abusive and if so, then it is abusive. Also tickling some one to a point when they have difficulty breathing is abusive. One should know when to stop, and most people do.

Yes , my abusive father did that to me until I got sick and then would make me stand in the corner for hours because I got sick -- + 5

It can cause fits, so yes

Sometimes. When I was a kid, I can remember someone being tickled to the point where they were having difficulty being able to breathe because they couldn't stop laughing.

Yes. It can be considered abusive.

actually, tickling was used as a torturing method in the past, and also as a killing method since excessive tickling would lead to difficulty in breathing hence suffucation.

I get tickled on my bare feet by my two little nieces ALL the time, and they always make me laugh so hard that I stop breathing and gasp out loud for air. Funny thing is, though....the longer and harder those two little girls tickle my bare feet, the closer I feel to them. I'm lying there in ticklish agony, gasping for my breath, losing my mind from the tickling sensations in my bare feet, and all I can think about is how so very much I love the precious little girls who are doing it to me. In fact, I tell them I love them while they're tickling my bare feet. Even when I can't get my breath, I say "I love you" in between gasps, and they always say "I love you, too" while continuing to tickle my bare feet. For that very reason, I LOVE it when they tickle-torture my bare feet, and I NEVER ask them to stop. They love it, I love it, and it's all good. Let them tickle away!

A fine line can be crossed sometimes it is all fun but it can turn abusive if it is excessive and tormenting.
