Were her parents on the Dawes Roll? If so, and you have a birth certificate for her, as being their daughter, then perhaps you can apply to have her added. Then work from there.

No, the parents aren't listed because they were not around for the Dawes Roll either. It was a census taken only during a particular time. So, if you didn't volunteer or were not able to 'sign up' then you (and your descendants) are out of luck. Plus, she didn't have a birth certificate either. The Dawes Roll acts as their birth certificate too in many cases. It is as if there is a missing link in our family tree because we can't prove she even existed. However, there is a state marker of her in Stearns Ky. But that is not enough proof.

If you are a tenth descendant from anyone in the roll book, you have to be taken as a member. But you have to be direct descendant. There may be another in that bloodline that has had certificates.
