How long would you wait for your date? So, let's say you have a date with a girl/guy and you're just a little early on the spot where the two of you are supposed to meet. But your date just doesn't seem to show up, and you're losing patience.

On a first date, 15-30 minutes unless you receive a phone call. Your time is precious. Someone who doesn't show up on time does not respect you and may inevitably put other things before you as the relationship progresses.

if im desperate i will wait all night. otherwise i will wait 20 min unless i get a phone call from them letting me know they will be late.

Unless I get a phone call explaining why they'll be late, I would wait 30 minutes if it's someone I don't know well, and probably close to an hour if it's someone I do know well.

That would depend on whether I knew beforehand that something might delay him - work, family, something medical. But I would give it at least 45-60 minutes if he was out of cell phione contact. On my first official 'date' with someone, he was late and very apologetic. Good thing I waited - we have been together for 22 years now.

I'd wait 45 min. or so. Traffic or a late start. But they could phone me!

ooooo....max - 30min. If they show up by then, they better be ready for an earful. If anything shorter like 10-15min, thats ok, I am late myself at times. :p
