What happens if a person uses a credit card for a small amount of money after closing the bank account and leaving the country? How much does he have to pay them back after few years?

If you have bank accounts like 5 of them and overdrawn and then they are closed, like 200 each, what is the worst thing that can happen to you? Can you go to jail for that?

You're reading On my credit report I have 2 accounts closed from unpaid Credit Cards. It says $0 balance and account has been transfer/sold. Last payment 04/02. It now lies in the hands of a junk debt collector. Should I pay? How can I get if off my credit report?

This is right. If you pay on them now they will stay on your report for 7 years past the last activity date. My cousin works for Equifax.

And they have to come off your credit report as well. There was something from about 11 years earlier that a creditor who purchased the debt tried to put back on my report. I emailed all the credit report co's and it was removed immediately.
But I just reread your question and I isn't about an outstanding debt but a credit account with a $0 balance. My husband has this problem also and they refuse to remove this unopen credit. It's all because of the computers that do al the work now. They told him that it's impossible to remove.
