My all time favourite in the Book of Proverbs is, Chapter 3 v 5 & 6. I have found this to be true in many instances.

I can't remember the chapter or verse, but in the New Living Translation it says... "An open rebuke is better than hidden love!"

The Proverbs are full of the wisdom from God thus they can be of great benefit if we follow them. Prov 12:18 "There exists the one speaking thoughtlessly as with the stabs of a sword, but the tongue of the wise ones is healing" Another is Prov 18:12 "Before a crash the heart of a man is lofty, and before glory there is humility"
