Some whack collection agency trying to get the low down on me. Oh I answered but I wasn't the one answering, lol.

I got one a year ago from a friend who was crying because his dad had died. Was pretty bad considering I've been close to his family since we were both little kids.

Its between my mom calling be to tell me my grandfather died or my then wife calling to tell me she was divorcing me.

A friend of mine's mom called me to tell me that their daughter had committed suicide just shortly after I got home from seeing her.

My girlfriend at the time calling me to tell me that she felt bad about giving some other guy a blowjob at a party the night before. Yep.

Try phoning British Gas. I used to sit at my kitchen table weeping on the phone to them. They're ridiculous. "Well it says on all our records that you don't have a meter"... "I DO have a meter, I'll photograph it!" "No, mister, you dont have a meter.." And this goes on for days, literally.

It's a tie between the one when my husband [then, fiancé] told me he had been unfaithful, or when my gynecologist told me I had cancer. Yuck.

I work for a family business, only 5 of us there. I was called at home on a Sunday morning, told that my co-worker 40 yrs of age died, from a heart attack. The sad part of it was he and his wife tried for many years to get pregnant, and she finally did, their son was only a few weeks old when he passed, around Christmas...geeeez :(

My mother's sister calling from the hospital to say my mother just died from her cancer ... only one week after her mother, my grandmother had also died from her third stroke.

I answered the phone at 6 am and the nursing home said, "Is this . . . ." and I answered affirmatively. They then said, "We're calling to tell you your grandfather died an hour ago." It was like a punch in the stomach. So cold. Why not call me when he was obviously not going to make it so I could have been there to hold his hand. It brings tears to my eyes now that he had to die alone. My only consolation is that he will be there to help me across.
