baptists dont baptize their children, their children choose to be baptized after accepting Christ as their Lord and Sufficient Savior of their own free will. its not always immediately that they choose to be baptized, sometimes taking years for them to decide to do so.

We Baptists believe in what we call credobaptism or adult baptism. You have to believe in Jesus first before you get baptized not the other way around. An infant cannot be hold accountable for a decision that has to be made with the mind and heart. So when and infant dies its instant heaven.
