there is nothing better to look at.

personaly I don't like the stuff (kind of weird), I would not call it crap though. if there is something to say for it though it is quite a bit more imaginative than alot of other things they could be into.
-
because there are a lot of japanese and i guess they like them.

I don't like it it's crap

Because it is well-drawn (well at least better drawn than some cartoons) , interesting, and there are two distinct types. Shojo which is girly manga including love and romance and shonen which is boy manga including violence and adventures. Sometimes a manga will include both like Inuyasha. It also helps you learn Japanese.

because it has a graet story behined it, great art, drawn well, real, unique characters, suspence, grat story that keeps geting better.

I for one don't like Naruto, and for those who are saying its a great story, Naruto is your typical shounen show. As to Naruto's animation quality it is low compared to other series, in fact one infamous episode they forgot to animate his head! High quality it is not. And really the characters are archetypes like a character that has a dream to be the best at whatever(mopping for example, or being the best pokemon trainer).

When you say "that Japanese animation crap", I'm assuming you mean the show, Naruto, and not anime in general; you would most likely not have this application if you hated anime. As stated by Andrew Meltzer, Naruto is a typical shounen show. I have love-hate feelings towards the show. It is obviously appealing to a younger audience. The show has too many fantasy elements to consider Naruto as a great ninja, but it is the abilities that each character has which attract me; I like fantasy. It offends me in a way because I am a practitioner of martial arts, and very few characters actually know how to fight (and it's not even ninjutsu), but, as I stated before, I enjoy the fantasy aspect of the manga (the anime is too slow for me). The storyline really isn't that great, but it's not crap. If you had to create an on-going story, you'd see how hard it would be to write as you go along. Another problem is having to write and draw twenty pages for manga; either you're having a great time and twenty becomes small or you're experiencing writer's block and twenty is too much. The process is weekly too. I believe that any long-going anime becomes tiring and repetitive thanks to lack of creativity.

why ask a stupid question man ...one show doesn't add up to animation ..know what i mean ..than again you probably don't ...

Before you bag Japanese culture even more... Instead of watching Western TV shows, I've always been more into anime. I also come from a Japanese background, which might also be why. And I've been exposed to anime since I was young (like, 2 or 3 years old).

u shouldn't be calling it crap if u never gave it a chance. the fact that many normal people loves naruto shows that its opbviously really good and interesting
-
If you're basing all of anime on Naruto, then you're an idiot.
-
i agree.....if you base all of anime off naruto, you are a dumbass
-
You shouldn't really base an opinion of anime on Naruto. There are a lot of animes out there a hell of a lot better than Naruto. If you're thinking anime is for little kids or whatever, try watching Hellsing or Higurashi. Both incredibly violent, creepy and kickass.
