You can ask a friend to answer it, which would put it back on the main page again for a few minutes at least. You could also put the link into an email and send it to many friends and ask them to answer in order to get a discussion going. You might also consider rephrasing the question in case it didn't make sense.

Ugh... I didn't mean on AnswerBag. I meant in real life. When this happens to me, sometimes I ask again. If I'm still ignored, I ingore that person until they make a fuss, then I inform them that they ignored my question and will have to wait the same amount of time for an answer to theirs. People don't ignore me more than once.

Answer it yourself. Sometimes if you don't blow your own horn, there's no music.
