  • are you sure you don't have an infection of some type..or maybe your tongue is harbouring bacteria...
  • You didn't mention mouth wash... That would help. Also, I hear tongue scrapers work wonders for bad breath.
  • Not to make this a big problem/scare but see a dentist if you can.Bad breath can also be caused by dry mouth (xerostomia), which occurs when the flow of saliva decreases. Bad breath may be the sign of a medical disorder, such as a local infection in the respiratory tract, chronic sinusitis, postnasal drip, chronic bronchitis, diabetes, gastrointestinal disturbance, liver or kidney ailment. If your dentist determines that your mouth is healthy, you may be referred to your family doctor or a specialist to determine the cause of bad breath.
  • You should definitely see both a doctor and a dentist to make sure that there isn't some other problem causing the bad breath. But in the meantime, eat at least one container of yogurt (with active cultures in it) every day. Yogurt replaces good bacteria in your system - sometimes the bad bacteria can cause bad breath.
  • Stuff on your tongue can cause bad breath. Use mouth wash. You probably don't need to see a doctor unless this doesn't work.
  • Floss more. You have decomp between your teeth!
  • Carry around a little piece of tinfoil with you. When you have bad breath tear off a little peice and chew it. Something in the tinfoil (I can remember the name lol) make the sulpher on your tounge break down. Sulpher is what causes bad breath.
  • The tongue can harbor alot of germs that you can't get to. Got to get back there with a scraper. Try an egg beater or an electric mixer.
