  • probably around 10 for pg 13 and 6 or 7 for pg
  • I would say it depends on if they are trusted not to swear. But I think a 5 year old can watch a pg movie.
  • I think it depends on the child's understanding and maturity level. I would think that a child should be at least middle school age before watching a PG-13 movie.
  • I think kids learn worse things from other kids at school. I always read why the movie got rated the way it did, and then I made my decision. If it had sexual content/suggestives I wouldn't let them watch it. If it was for language or violence I would watch it first and then decide if it was too mature for them. Some movies I thought it best to explain what was going on and then see if my kids had any questions. I try to raise my kids as best I can, and they understand there are certain things they can't say or do, at least until they are 18. My girls are mature for their ages because I'm honest but firm with them. I also trust them when they promise not to swear, especially when they come home and tell me that they stopped being friends with certain kids at school because they have "potty mouths".
  • IDK, 8 and 11 maybe (w/ parental guidance until 10 and 13)
