Since they were both drinking...and it takes two to have sex.........I believe they are both at fault. He was aware of her feelings...she knew his feelings..yet they drank and had sex....... BOTH GUILTY
-
The only person that "you" can blame for anything is your boyfriend for infidelity.
-
Both.

Both. It takes two to tango. If they had more clearly defined their 'friendship' in the beginning, it likely wouldn't have escalated, but, booze is a great unihibitor, so that will pretty much cast off the limits if too much is involved. In future, let any boyfriend know that going out with a fem friend for drinks, is unacceptable without you too. Why play with fire?
-
short and simple ... both, takes two to tango and they both knew that they shouldn't but they did ... so both of them are guilty

Dear kazzy, he was not my boyfriend at that time. But when he mentioned it to me, i got upset, maybe I'm not so open-minded. Although, he said she wanted to remain friends even if he didnt want to date. Yet they continued to go on trips and sleep in the same bed, instead of getting separate beds during the trip. But once the inevitable happened, she called him and asked if they were going to date and he again said no to her. He thinks I'm wrong and I think I'm right..I'm just looking for second opinions.

Both of them. As everyone else said. If he did it drunk, he clearly had SOME willingness to do it. Being drunk just lowers your inhibitions. It doesn't put in new feelings you didn't have before. She clearly was trying to get him to sleep with her. He went along with it. It's both their faults, and I'd be reluctant to stay with the guy if it happened after he was dating you.
