Help answer this question below.

I have an Ipod and today when I plugged in my headphones, there was no sound for music or videos. What is going on and can I do anything to fix it?

    i have the same problem i have tried different headphones n still nothing, i even tried resetting my ipod.

    Hm...I did and it worked. But my headphones work on my portable dvd player but not my ipod? Weird.

    Try a different set of headphones just to see if that is where the problem begins.

    I have the ipod touch 3rd gen and the headset and a/v cables only work when the ipod is connected to the charger. i am going to get a bluetooth and see if I can listen to it that way without the charger connection, but I miss being able to plug into the car radio.....
