  • Thats a good question! + (skim through each beginning)
  • On new CD's the seek button fwd is my favorite...haha...exp in my car i'll just sit there with one hand on the wheel and the other pressing the fwd button after i've listened to the song long enough to decide if i like it or not...even if i do like it i go on through the CD until i know which ones in my head were the ones i liked...
  • i skip threw the songs
  • I play the entire cd
  • skip til I like one, listen to all of it, then skip thru til another good one. later listen to it all.
  • I usually go through and listen to each song briefly, hovering longer when I really like one.
  • i listen to an album in it's entirety.
  • I listen to the entire CD. I'm currently listening to a CD I bought in 2007 that I haven't listened to yet.
  • Briefly go through to get an overall idea of the genre or theme of the CD, then later listen through the entire thing.
  • I'm bad to forget I've bought them too. If it's a new artist, I do the preview bit first. If I'm already a fan, I'll listen to it all the way through.
  • with websites that have samples of every song i usually check all the songs before even purchasing the CD, some artists I buy the Cd not checked.
  • For me I will listen to whichever is the first song with lyrics because for me (I listen to black and death metal mostly) if the first song doesn't draw you in it feels like the rest of the CD suffers
  • Depends on my mood. Usually (90% of the time) I listen to the first 10 or 15 seconds of each one. Then when I find a couple I like, I listen to them on repeat until I get tired of them. Then, weeks later, I go back and listen to one of the others completely and realize I was missing out.
  • I play the songs that I like most, then I pick out the song that I can tell I like right away, then I try the CD out a few times from start to finish... typically. However, at times I try to force myself to do the start to finish listening first, once or twice, before I skip through anything.
