Ouija boards over the world have speculated several controversies, whether if it's a portal to spirits, if your sub-conscience controls it, or it being fake. Several events of people using ouija boards result, being unknown. A "spirit" named Jack, can't really be traced back into time. I've used it, and it freaked me out. I don't want to try ever again, and I hope, no one tries fooling around with it.

I wouldn't mess with those things. My sister only touched one and she couldn't breathe for quite some time.

From what I've been told is that the normally only summon evil spirits and some spirits will pretend to be people you know that have past away. Sometimes bad spirits will stick around for a couple days after using it too.

You have the best idea, stay far away from them. It's not a child's game, it serious, spooky and spiritistic stuff. The word is Ouija

There are three major schools of thought on the Ouija. 1. It's real, and it allows spirits to answer questions posed by those who use it. The answers it provides are only as accurate as the spirit's own knowledge and willingness to help. 2. It's a toy. Any movement in the pointer is due to "microtremors" in the hands of the users. The subconscious minds of the users may influence these tremors to cause the pointer to move as the users expect it to, which means the Ouija will only give the answer that the users think that it will to begin with. 3. It's a tool of demonic forces, which masquerade as the spirits of the deceased in order to deceive the users and try to gain influence over them. My personal opinion is split between #2 and #3. I do believe in demons, but I do not tend to see them under every rock, unlike many well-intentioned people in my church. I have not had any experience with a Ouija board myself, but I have used a pendulum to try to delve my own subconscious (it uses a similar principle--the microtremors thing). I was unsuccessful.

I saw a guy when I was younger who had just used one it had spelt out the word CATS. Later that evening cat scratches appeared on his back he started burning up and was violently sick - I swear this is no word of a lie! My fathers side of the family used to meet up and use one as a way of finishing off their evening meal, as a social tool so to speak, bad things happened to a fair few of them. My uncle for instance - it warned him of Gremlins and on the way home his car had a mysterious and to this day unexplained mechanical failure which resulted in him crashing into a wall. My advice: steer well clear of them.

I dont think any advice you get from an Ouiji board has any real merit. It is a toy or a game nothing more.
