Hi, I was also trying to find the name of an old Funk/Disco song myself. I could actually sing the lyrics and melody in my head but for the life of me could not get the title correct when I searched the Internet or Napster. I started looking at this question and thought you were looking for the same song. I clicked on the link below that brought up all the disco cds and I clicked on a few and found the song that I was looking for! The song is "Let's Start the Dance" by Hamilton Bohannon. The group is called Bohannon the title of the song is Let's Start the Dance. I've been searching for this song too I'm going to try Limewire.com I've lot's of good music there from all genres and the early version Limewire 4.12 is a free shareware site. It was also covered in the 90's by a UK-based dance band called Clock. Not that you'd want to listen to that! Their version was just called Everybody.
