  • The whole metro-sexual thing seems steeped in consumerism and high-maintenance values. I admit that some men look great in the 'clothes', but there is more to life than how one looks. I like a person who is comfortable in his own skin, and not trying to buff and pluck every inch of his body! That doesn't mean that I don't think a man should be able to wear a pink or floral shirt (I think it's hot and can be VERY masculine). Oh, and I'm a female.
  • I think a good balance between both is the way to go. I'm secure enough in my masculinity to take care of my skin and to dress nicely, but don't think it's the most important thing in life. However, I do love a nice Armani suit with a Pink dress shirt. I'm male.
  • Old School. They seem stronger and more confident mentally. Old fashioned guys take care in their appearance .. not just metro. I like men who lead and I personally am attracted to old fashioned men and not much at all attracted to the metro type guys as far as wanting to make one mine. Nothing against metro guys.. we all just like what we like. I am female
  • I don't want a man that spends more time on his appearance than I do. I am a wash and go person, no make-up, no hair color, just wash, brush teeth, put on anti-perspirant, run comb through hair and leave.
  • Old School....for obvious reasons...:-D... . . .
  • Old school.A well-groomed man doesn't have to fuss over his appearance excessively. It doesn't show much confidence when they do.I am female.
  • Old school. I like guys in pink, but I don't want him fretting over the latest designer shirts - I don't! Metro is so old hat nowadays, no-one appreciates pretty, pretty boys any more... real women want real men!
