  • Recognise it, try really hard to focus on positives, change you routine.
  • Just like all things- this too will pass. Just be strong, dont be any harder on yourself than normal and just wait it out. Occupy your mind with something else.
  • Take your mind off of things. do things you really enjoy. And take it easy, it gets better.
  • Having been through this myself, it's very hard to just change. Have you tried counseling or medication? Get outside and breathe some fresh air. Take a walk, even if it's around the block. Smile at just one person, then make it two. It's baby steps that get you through it.
  • Diversion, diversion, diversion! You need to quit thinking the way you do.Get your mind occupied doing something else. Exercise is one proven way to help. Long walks help. Hobbies, etc. I went through this state of mind once and learned to change my focus and told myself every time I had what I called ,stinkin thinkin, that I was the thinker and would stop and think more positively.(Nothing like a run on sentence ,Heh.) lol- Laughing is very beneficial also. Watch a comedy! Good Luck
  • If you can muster up the energy try excercising for a 20 minutes or so. I know how hard it is when you don't feel like doing anything but sulking but it works at least for a short time. Believe me I know because I've been fighting depression for about 35 years and I think the only reason I'm still here is because I got addicted to excercise. ENDORPHINES!
