I have a omnitech 2gb mp3 player, wont let me download songs, tells me "cannot create file" player already has 121 songs on it, this error message just started, what do I do?

My first thought is whether you have used up the free space. Do you use software that puts the songs on there for you, and if so, will it tell you how much space you have left? Otherwise, you can use the file browser to look at the player when it's plugged into your PC. Usually it will appear as Drive E: or maybe Drive F: Right-click on it, select properties, and there should be some information there telling you how much free space you have.

Wierd i have the same problem, with my nephews, and it started at exactly 121 songs on it. it must only allow 121 files in the root file even though there is more space available. I made folders and then put songs in the folders that worked for me. Hope it does for you...
