  • cats may knead for many different reasons. from what I gather your cat does this when relaxing on a certain fabric. perhaps it is the fabric of the cat bed making your cat comfortable and relaxed.
  • It means you should count your blessing and Praise the Lord that your cat hasn't gotten it in its head to "knead" on you. Those cute tiny paws hide sharp little daggers which even when kitty is being nice can hurt. Most likely it means that her bed is her turf, it is the safest, most peaceful, happy place for her in the whole house. Which is a good thing. Cats need their "turf" their "area" to do their thing in. It doesn't mean she doesn't feel these things around or on you, it just means that her bed is the ultimate, supreme place in her mind. Nothing personal. I bet she would bring you dead mice, birds and other offerings of love if given the chance. Which if she does accept with great honor, a cat sharing the kill with you is high praise indeed.
  • lol thats is soooo cute i have a 4 month old kitten that dose the same thing. one of the many reasons why a cat or kitten dose this is during the nuirsing period of it life its a sign of comfort and protection why she still could be doing this is one of the reasons is that the kitten was taken away to eairl in its life kittens should start being wined off there mothers by the age of 6 weeks and fully given away weeks after that.. she is most likly doing it for comfort reasons
  • This goes back to the wild, a lot of animals would 'trample' the foliage around them to make a comfortable bed..dogs also do it, you will quite often see them turning in a circle befoe they sit down, it's for the same reason
  • It means she is comfortable in her bed and enjoys it.
