If you type your comment into a new answer by mistake is there anyway to delete it? I can't even flag my own answer to get it deleted. What do you do?

If user asks for the answer to be deleted, then someone else may find the mistake and flag it for you. I can't guruantee this will work, but this will work best. A user who answered cannot delete the answer on his/her own. We just have to wait for someone else to flag the answer.

Happens to me sometimes. I just erase the comment and say "please flag" or "meant as a comment." Then hope that a good samaritan comes along and flags it.

You can go to ''edit answer'' near the top of it, and edit it to ''please flag''. Then somebody else knows they should flag it.
