  • No, because the object will eventually succumb to decay, even if it could pass through gas, plasma or other mass, it would eventually dissipate. Everything in the universe is subject to decay, even light.

  • Well the answer is yes if the point is travelling sufficiently slowly. For instance, it is reasonably likely that Voyager-1 will NEVER meet anything... always assuming humans won't puposely track it down bring it back and put it in the Marsport museum in 2053.
