What is the rationale in some parts of the world to setting fire to buses, buildings, etc., as part of the grieving process in the wake of assassinations?

it beats me but i do notice that it tends to be the poorer places in the world that do stuff like that

It seems more like a mob mentality which usually seems to be set at the lowest possible level and their desire to grieve the loss of someone is so strong that they vent in some of the most outrageous manners.
