As far as nursing is concerned, you can complete the non-clinical portion of your degree online, but you have to make arrangments to complete the clinical portion traditionally. see http://www.allnursingschools.com/faqs/onlineschool.php I was glad to see you couldn't get one completely online.... I definitely would not want a nurse who had not had any schooling in a clinical setting to work with me. (Or a doctor or surgeon for that matter!)
