  • Did you take any mathematics classes in secondary school? Did you take a placement exam? Which mathematics class are you taking at the university? Fear of failure is a rational fear when taking on something new. Fortunately for you, you have an AB account, and there are resources here to help people with mathematics. I myself went to the university at a young age, and I had not completed any of the prerequisite courses for the mathematics into which I placed, but I ended up being okay (although it was a lot of work). If you are able to work hard and you are committed enough to ask for help when you need it, there is nothing you can't get through.
