  • It might be that you need to activate your pop-up stopper in windows. Also you can install an additional one most can be found in google. This has helped me in the past with similar experiences.

  • the offical site doesn't have a www in front of it. If you type www/pokemon.com in the address bar the site doesn't exist and you go to the search page. If you type pokemon.comb your browser adds the www. If you type //pokemon.com you should go to the offical site.
  • Its definatly some kind of malware. If you have virus protection run a full system scan. If not google f-secure, its a free anti-virus program that should remove any harmful programs/Trojans running around on your system.
  • crappy companies that try to sell you junk use common incorrectly typed web addresses to dupe people into looking at their website by claiming you can get "free pokemon merchandise" or "chat rooms" related to whatever subject you are looking for, and hope that you are dumb enough to go through their site to get to it.
