I think Lisa Marie Presley's marriage to Nick Cage was very short and not too sweet. My husband's cousin Melissa was married for 4 months. The thank you cards from the wedding didn't even go out and they were moving toward divorce.

In real life Yes. I have 3 sisters and one Brother and they have been married and divorced 13 times between them and 3 of them are about to go into 4th marriages

Yes, a good friend of my brother's lived with a young lady for one year before the wedding. They broke up one month after the wedding.

My first marriage lasted only a few days over a year.

A friend of my husband, moved away, then came back for a visit 2 months later, married to a girl with 3 kids. They'd been married a week. She had gotten her tubes tied, and they had plans on getting her surgery to allow her to get pregnant again. Within a month, they had already seperated and were filing for divorce. Luckily, he hadn't payed for the operation. I kind of felt like it was a joke from the first time I saw them together.
