I answer becaues the question is good,not for the points nor because a certain person ask it. However I do answer all questions on my friends list that I can.

For every question YOU ask, I get 4 points, for doing absolutely nothing. My points just go up every time you ask a question, even if I'm not participating? Points would be even more pointless than they already are, wouldn't they? I answer because I enjoy answering. One of the sites I answer on has no points what-so-ever, but I enjoy it just the same. This site is more fun, because of the comments, and friends list, so I spend more time here.

I only reply to the questions that I can truthfully answer or have a funny idea. Sometimes other AB-ers have such good answers that I don't give mine, I just give them points and move on to another question that interests me.
